This is another bit of wisdom from Gary Siegel’s Why Didn’t They Teach Me This In School:

“Friends from high school and college become insurance salesmen, CFOs, accountants, real estate investors, realtors…” You can end up with experts in many fields who you trust and can learn from. Not to mention references when you need them.

In the last few years, many of us have been more isolated than ever. Take the time to connect with friends, even if you can’t see them in person or chat on the phone. A silly pic or “Happy Monday” text can keep connections alive.
